I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

90 Minutes – Sessions comprise of a 30 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 55 minutes in the arena and 5 mins to debrief and remove your harnesses.

When do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in and ready for briefing.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have excellent parking at the front of the Centre in the East Kent Retail Park. At certain times of the year the Car Park will get busy. Please ensure you arrive in enough time so you can find a space.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Open toed shoes, flip flops, boots, crocs, rock shoes or heels are not permitted in the climbing arena.

Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, we are located on 1 level. We have viewing areas on the ground floor as well as a disabled toilet.

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have small lockers available in our café that are free to use. They are big enough for coats or a small bag.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Indeed we do. They are available to purchase at the centre in person, or over the phone.

Can I leave my child unattended?

Children under 12yrs need a responsible adult on site, but from 12 and over they can be left here unattended providing an under 18’s disclaimer has been signed by a parent or guardian.
